波子診治後最新情況

Hello all, my big boy 波子 was neutered, at first, there was some problems with his recovery, therefore, he had the collar on for about 20 days. During these 20 days, 波子 has no problem eating, drinking, just not able to clean himself too well, but health wise, 波子 was okay.

The vet. checked him and asked to remove the collar, which I did, but then, 波子 appetite seems to change. He is no longer eating Timothy hay, but when I feed him a little Alfalfa hay, he will eat them. I tried to leave the Timothy hay for him a long period of time, but he would only eat very little. Also, I noticed that the pellets food are not finished by 波子 any more. He is not eating as much as before.

I am worried that his weight will drop, and not enough hay to assist on his digestion. Any ideas?

波子 is eating timothy hay again la (small amount) ^^ But I will still keep on feeding the medication, he is pooping again as well, although I don't see him drinking water yet, but I think it is still a good sign.

波子 is also eating the medication voluntary, good 波子 ^^

波子 is eating Timothy hay and pellets, and drinking water slowly again. However, the "hay powder" prescribed by the doctor, he had a small amount, but then when I fed him again, he refused. I tried to force feed him but only managed to eat another small amount. Anyone knows why?

If he is eating hay and pellets again, do I still need to force feed him the hay powder?

I think you are better to ask the doctor, because he knows more about the situation. 草粉 is not just hay powder, it contains other ingredients.

波子 eats the needed amount of hay powder la, yeah ^^ May be he was full last time, and I forced him to eat more....aiya.

波子 is also eating the medication, I am so happy.

To cordero: The hay powder is the banana/apple taste gar.

To wesky: The clinic closed on Sunday, so I could not call. Only 24/7 emergency hospital, but they don't specialized in rabbits lor. Hopefully, 波子 is okay la.

波子 went to re-check at the clinic today, and Dr. says he is not 100% yet and should still take the medication until it's finished. Nothing to worry about. However, 波子 has ear infection, so after the medication is done and he is back to normal, the ear problem needs to be taken care of.

Has anyone with experience about ear infection? Is it serious gar? Should I worry?
